1.About these terms
These terms apply to golfcaritabil.ro and to everything offered through it: creating an account, registering for the tournament and the gala by donating, direct donations, and registering interest in the charity auction.
The site is run by the Unity and Trust Association, organiser of CHARITY GOLF – “Hall of Legends”. By using the site you confirm that you have read and accept these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.
They are complemented by our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
2.The event
- Charity gala
- 12 September 2026, Pentagon Events, Bucharest.
- Golf tournament
- 13 September 2026, National Golf Club.
The programme, the guests, the artistic moments and the auction lots may change for reasons outside the organiser’s control. We announce any change in good time, on the site and by email to registered participants.
3.Participant account
You can create an account with an email and password, or with your Google account. You need one to see your registrations, your access documents and your participant details.
- the details you enter must be true and complete — access documents are personal and checked at the entrance;
- you are responsible for keeping your password safe and for activity in your account;
- you can ask us to delete your account at any time: registrations already paid remain valid, and financial records are kept for as long as the law requires;
- we may suspend an account used abusively, for fraud, or in breach of these terms.
4.Registration and contribution
Taking part in the event is done by donating. The contribution you choose is a donation in full to the cause supported by the Unity and Trust Association, and your place at the gala or on the course is our way of thanking you for it. We do not sell tickets and we do not charge the price of a service.
Contributions are shown in Romanian lei. Places are limited for each form of participation, and a registration becomes firm only once payment is confirmed.
After payment you receive a confirmation and your access document by email, with a unique code for each participant. The code is presented at the entrance together with an identity document.
- an access document is valid for one person, for the event and date shown on it;
- the participant’s name can be changed free of charge up to 7 days before the event, by writing to contact@golfcaritabil.ro;
- places may not be resold, or used for commercial or advertising purposes without our written agreement.
5.Payments
Card payments are processed by Stripe, under PCI-DSS security standards. Card details are entered directly on the processor’s secure page; we never see or store them.
Transactions may require additional authentication with your bank (3-D Secure). If a payment fails, the registration stays unconfirmed and the reserved places are released.
6.Refunds
Participation contributions are donations, not payment for a product or a service. Like any donation, they are voluntary, given without consideration, and are not refundable. For the same reason, the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply either — it concerns distance contracts for the sale of goods or the supply of services.
We make an exception for obvious payment errors: if you entered the wrong amount or paid twice by mistake, write to contact@golfcaritabil.ro within 14 days and we will put it right.
If the event is rescheduled, your place stays valid for the new date. If you cannot attend, you may pass your place to someone else up to 7 days beforehand, by letting us know. And if the event cannot take place at all, the donations remain destined for the programmes they were made for, and we report publicly on how they were used.
Not showing up at the event does not give a right to a refund.
7.Direct donations
You can also donate without attending the event, from the donation page — by card, by bank transfer or through Form 230, using the details shown there.
Donations support the educational and sports programmes for children from disadvantaged backgrounds, as well as the costs of running them. The same rules as above apply: they are not refundable, except for payment errors.
Through Form 230 you can redirect a percentage of your income tax to the association, at no cost to you. The association has been listed since 5 March 2025 in the register kept by the Romanian tax authority (ANAF) that makes this redirection possible.
8.The charity auction
The items shown in the Auction section go under the hammer live, during the gala evening of 12 September 2026. The form on the site is not a bid and commits you to nothing: through it you register interest in a lot, and we contact you with the details for taking part.
- the auction rules, the bid increment and the starting prices are announced in the room, before bidding opens;
- a lot is knocked down to the highest bid accepted by the auctioneer, and this creates the obligation to pay the hammer price;
- an item is handed over once the amount has been paid in full, against a handover record, together with the authenticity documents held by the organiser;
- items are offered as they are; the descriptions on the site are indicative.
The proceeds of the auction support the cause behind the event.
9.Access and conduct at the event
- access is granted on the basis of the personal access document and an identity document;
- an elegant dress code applies at the gala, communicated to participants beforehand;
- on the course, the rules and etiquette of the host club apply, including instructions from referees and staff;
- minors are admitted when accompanied by a parent or guardian;
- the organiser may refuse access, or ask someone to leave the venue, in the case of behaviour that endangers safety or disturbs other guests, without refunding the contribution.
Photographs and video are taken at the event. The details, and how to object, are in the Privacy Policy.
10.Site content
The texts, photographs, video, visual identity and structure of the site belong to the Unity and Trust Association or are used with the agreement of the rights holders. You may read them and share links to them, but you may not copy, republish or use them commercially without our written agreement.
The names and logos of partners, clubs and athletes mentioned belong to their respective owners and are used solely for identification, in the context of the event.
We ask you to use the site in good faith. It is not permitted to attempt to reach protected areas or other people’s accounts, to send automated requests or bulk messages, to scrape the content automatically, or to submit through our forms any content that is unlawful, offensive or infringes someone else’s rights.
11.Availability and liability
We work to keep the site available and its information accurate, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation: there may be downtime for maintenance, updates, or technical problems at our providers.
We are not liable for indirect damage arising from use of the site, nor for the content of external sites we link to. Our liability in connection with a registration is limited to the value of the related contribution.
We are not liable for failure to perform caused by force majeure or unforeseeable circumstances — including restrictions imposed by the authorities, extreme weather that makes the tournament impossible, or the venue becoming unavailable.
12.Newsletter and communications
If you subscribe to the newsletter, you receive news about the event and the association’s projects. You can unsubscribe at any time, from the link at the bottom of every email. Regardless of your subscription, we send you the messages your registration requires: confirmations, access documents and practical information about the event.
13.Complaints and disputes
Send any complaint to contact@golfcaritabil.ro. We reply within 30 days and always look for an amicable solution first.
If we cannot reach one, you may turn to the Romanian National Authority for Consumer Protection (anpc.ro), including its alternative dispute resolution bodies.
These terms are governed by Romanian law, and disputes that cannot be settled amicably fall to the courts of Romania.
14.Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version that applies to your registration is the one on the site at the moment you make it. Important changes are announced on the site, and the date of the last update is shown at the top of this page.
15.Contact
